What you need
tbsp honey

tbsp olive oil
tsp dried chives

tsp garlic powder
chicken sausage
Instructions
0 Take a skewer and spear it right through the center of the hot dog until it comes out the other side. 1 Lay the skewered hot dog on a cutting board. 2 Hold a knife at a 30-degree angle at the top of the hot dog. Cut into the top of the hot dog until you hit the skewer. Then keeping the knife in place, slowly rotate the hot dog without moving the knife to create a spiral around the hot dog until you reach the other end. Cut thinner spirals than you think! 3 Carefully remove the skewer from the hot dog. Repeat with remaining dogs. 4 In a small bowl, whisk together the dijon mustard, honey, olive oil, chives, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. 5 When ready to grill, preheat the grill to high. 6 Place the hots dogs on the grill. Grill for 2-3 minutes, flip, and brush cooked side with the honey mustard sauce. Grill 2-3 more minutes, flip, and brush the other side with honey mustard. Grill 2 to 3 minutes more to thicken the glaze. 7 Remove from the grill and serve on a salad or on hot dog buns.View original recipe
